Sitting in a dark room with my favorite lamp lit up, my last Sunday was spent in a lot of contemplation and pondering over things I missed but still longing to achieve one day.
Charting my ways through, all that of turbulent past has now brought me to a different dimension of this life – because it has to end well. I am not trying to portray loneliness, but the feeling of aloneness which has become my biggest strength over the years. I have learned to stand alone fearlessly but with a kind heart. Thanks to my past which blessed me with immense wisdom to see things by merely walking alone and so to say rationally. This aloneness has become my opportunity to try out new things and remain fascinated always with technology, new people, new lands and diversity of this colossal world. Perhaps, that is among the reasons that I have fallen in love with long-distance journeys – Traveling as a traveler NOT as a tourist.
What do you need in this material world? Big cars, mansions, a beautiful wife and kids, well-to-do families, rocking friends or fair-weather friends, Indeed that will bring happiness to you but you should not forget that happiness is merely an emotion, a short-lived state of mind or a fragmentary thought. All we do in life, which we call our way of living, is just a product of thought which has no awareness in it. To be aware is to stand alone in your thoughts, where there is no fragmentation, illusion, rather a new form of vitality to explore things.
We as humans seek pleasure in everything, through our senses, from biological needs to have a lavish lifestyle. Pleasure is our basic instinct and it is part of our existence as animals, but sometimes I fail to understand, why we can’t have pleasure in going together. Is that different from your existence? OR why do you have pleasure in fragments?
Love, respect, support everywhere and everyone and you will begin to identify enormous pleasure in it.
Anyway, am looking forward to exploring another country very soon so stay tuned. 🙂 Thewanderingman
